In the world of landscape there are hugethe number of ornamental plants. Each plant is valuable in its own way. Some for decorative foliage, others for abundant flowering and so on. One of these plants is Scumpia photo. On landing, and leaving which will be discussed further. After all, not everyone has an idea what kind of plant it is, how to choose the right place for its planting and how to take care of it in the future.
Sumpia has several varieties. One of them is Sumpia Tannery. As a rule, it refers to shrubs, but it can be a small tree with a spherical crown, like, in fact, all varieties of skumpii, including ordinary skumpiyu. The height can reach up to 3 meters or higher. The trunk is smooth or with a little fluff, sprawling branches. Skumpiya is valuable (photo) with decorative leaves and paniculate inflorescences. The leaves on the top have a dull surface, on the bottom - a light down. In the summer they have a rich green color, by the autumn they turn crimson-red. The inflorescences appear in the middle of summer after the flowers fall, the pedicels grow in such a way that they look like thin hairs and delight the eyes of others with their uncommonness, from afar they very much resemble a pile of hair.

Planting and caring for skumpii
Due to the fact that Scumpia prefers areas that are not wet, but rather warmed up and illuminated by the sun, it means that before planting a squump, you should find out where this corner of the garden is.
Initially, this plant was considered wild. Accordingly, there are no special requirements for soil fertility. It may well hold stony slopes and debris. It tolerates sandy and loamy soils. If the plot is uneven: it has slopes, due to the well-developed root system of skumpii, these slopes can be strengthened by planting it directly on a hill. Once you have decided on the landing site, you should take up the landing pit. Its diameter should be slightly larger than the diameter of the root system. When planting, do not deepen the plant. The depth of the planting pit should be such that by filling the roots to the ground, the root collar can be seen from the ground. Then the earth is slightly rammed so that there is no strong shrinkage during watering, a hole is made around the pit and filled with water. It is necessary to pour skumpyuyu at least every other day, during the week. Of course, provided there is no rain. In rainy weather, the plant is watered naturally.
It is better to plant a plant in spring so that it will fall.it gained strength and painlessly spent the winter. After two weeks after planting, the plant must take root, after which it can be fed with a complex fertilizer containing macro and microelements that are so necessary for the plant during this period of development.
You also need to remember that, after the plantstuck, watering should be reduced. Approximately the first 2-3 years, the plant must be sheltered for the winter, because the young seedlings are not sufficiently rooted, the root system is superficial.
Special care does not require skumpiya. Enough watering and annual pruning. True to 3 years old sapling does not need pruning. There must be a spring dressing and during the season fertilized with nitrogen or complex fertilizers. In late October, potash-phosphate fertilizers should be applied to strengthen the root system. After the leaves fall, it is desirable to treat with iron or copper sulphate, for the prevention of fungal diseases and the destruction of insects that have settled for the winter under the bark of the plant.
